This year we went to Madiran for the first time - you may have noticed that we quite like sweet wines and the Pacherenc du Vic Bilh doux that comes from the same region has attracted me ever since I bought some from Robin Yapp in England in the early 90s. The sweet Gaillacs made from the appealingly named Long de l'oeil grape are equally appealing.

Actually the background vineyard pic on this blog is of a Madiran/Pacherenc vignoble. I must post something about all this soon!Jon Northhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00555772769830461982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-689549828008328709.post-15827303483500328472011-09-30T19:30:13.564-07:002011-09-30T19:30:13.564-07:00Do you ever extend you wine adventures further wes...Do you ever extend you wine adventures further west to appellations such as Gaillac, Madiran and Jurancon?
Mary Harrington
www.discovervin.com.auMMMHarringtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17361087294289669036noreply@blogger.com
